Show HEATH SPEAKS AT CACHE GOP MEET Thomas Heath, Franklin county state senator and Republican chair, man for Idaho, was the featured speaker at the Cache county Republican Re-publican convention held at the Logan Chamber of Commerce hall last Saturday evening. Senator Heath admonished his hearers to stand by their platform and see that its promises to the people are fulfilled. He lauded the 1932 platform of the Democratic Democra-tic party but said it was almost as good as new as it had been used but very little. ! He went into some length in comparing the standard bearers of the two national parties, especially Henry A. Wallaice and Charles Mc. Nary. Utah's new primary law was scoffed at by Mr. Heath. He said, "You have jumped into that crazy primary law which Idaho is about to kick out of the window." The convention was called for the purpose of naming 41 delegates dele-gates to the Republican state con-, con-, vention to be held in Salt Lake Saturday, September 14. n O |
