Show TEMPLE WEDDING RiTES UNITE POPULAR COUPLE Mrs. William Dunkley presided at a Irousseau tea Monday after noon in honor of her daughter, Usa, whose mai'riaKC to Allen Cutler, Jr.' took place Thursday. Autumn flowers were used throughout the rooms. Assisting Mrs. Dunkley in receiving were Usa and Mrs. Allen Cutler, Sr. The bride-elect was dressed in a floor length while dress. Her corsage was made of talisman roses and fern. The young ladies who assisted her in the trousseau rooms and in serving were, Mrs. Myrtle Woodward, Mrs. Venna Hurd, Mrs. Shirley Nelson, Mrs. Gloris Golf, Mrs. Viola Winward. Miss Lucy Tanner, Miss 'Valeen Dunkley and Miss Ida Winward. A color scheme of green and white was carried out in the refreshment re-freshment table and the menu. The table was covered with a hand croched lace cloth over green satin, sa-tin, centered with a large bowl of white chrysanthemums with green tapers on either end. During the afternoon music was furnished by Mrs. Rolena Johnson. More than one hundred guests called call-ed to view the trousseau. A temple wedding cetremony was performed Thursday, September IS, which united Miss Usa Dunkley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dunkley of Whitney in marriage to Allen Cutler, Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. Allen Cutler, Sr. of Preston. Miss Dunkley has attended the Univesity of Utah, Brigham Young university and the LDS Business College. During the past year she has been in Washington, D. C. as secretary to Congressman Moser of Pennsylvania. While at th6 BYU she was a member of the Cesta Pi Social Unit. Mr. Cutler has been attending ' the University of Utah during tho past four years. He was affiliated with the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. fraterni-ty. Both were graduated fjroni the Preston high school. The young couple will leave Saturday Sat-urday for the Chicago College of Dental Surgery. riUolflioo 1U HA UNA CLUB'S INITIAL MEET Miss Edith Hillstead was hostess to the RaOna club last Friday evening eve-ning at their opening session for the year. Mrs. Amy Hogge was elected to be the new president of the club to suaceed Miss Hill-stead. Hill-stead. Mrs. Eva Jenkins was reelected re-elected secetairy. After a luncheon, bridge was played with Mrs. Inez Allen, Mrs. Hazel Roe and Mrs. Carl Brostrom receiving the prizes. Mrs. Brostrom Bros-trom was a special guest. |
