Show family spent the week end in Og-den Og-den and West Weber, Utah where they visited with relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Porter of Ogden were visiting with friends and relatives in this community during the week. An interesting program was given giv-en Sunday evening under the direction di-rection of the M.LA. Those taking part were Leland L. Auger, Asa Webster. .Lee Wheeler, Letho Auger, Calvin Tousley, and Richard Rich-ard Owen. Some beautiful musical musi-cal numbers were rendered by Mrs. Evelyn Winward and Varr Alder accompanied by Mrs. Esther Larsen of the Preston Fifth ward. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Oliverson of Idaho Falls were visiting in this community Wednesday. GLENDALE Ivan Cordingly of Preston has been laboring in this community for a few days. Mrs. Cordingly visited with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wanner and family. Mr. and Mrs, Horace Owen and family of Preston, Idaho. spent Wednesday with Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wheeler and family. Dean Webster who has been working in Blackfoot is spending a few days at home with his parents par-ents Mr. and Mrs. Asa Webster and family. Some changes were made in the Sunday School organziation Sun day atfernoon. Miss Vaudis Auger was released as secretary and Miss LaRue was sustained as secretary. sec-retary. Mrs. Mary Coburn and Miss AIna Auger were sustained as teachers. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nelson and family have moved to this community for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Owen, Mr. and Mrs. William Auger and Mr. and Mrs. Vera Nelson made a tip to Brigham City during the past week. The trustees Asa Webster. Leland Le-land L. Auger and Christian J. Larsen met with the teachers Fri day night to make preparations for the school year. Work has been done on the house, it being kalsomined and cleaned, ready for school which commenced Tuesday morning with Norman Nelson as principal and Mrs. Mary Coburn as the primary teacher.
