Show Preston Firemen Play Dost To Utah State Convention wife; Mr. Waug of the National Board of Underwriters; James Creedin, secretary of the . Utah State Firemen's association, and wife of Bingham; many of the department de-partment personnel and their wives of Bingham; and chiefs or representatives from nearly all departments in Utah, some as far away as St. George. , The Bingham department came with beards and dressed in costumes cos-tumes to advertise the Galena Days' program to be held September Septem-ber 11 and 12 in Bingham. Chief and Mrs. C. I. Goff of Preston attended many of the Logan Lo-gan meetings including the Memorial Me-morial services at the Capitol theatre the-atre and the banquet and dance there Friday. According to Chief Goff the Utah convention is very commendable both in membership and program. I Preston's volunteer firemen were host to the Utah State Firemen's Fire-men's association here Thursday night at a buffet" luncheon and dance. It was the feature attraction attrac-tion of the opening day's activities of the Utah association's thirty-third thirty-third annual conference being held in Logan, Utah. About 200 firemen from thruout Utah and Preston were in attendance attend-ance with everyone expressing themselves as having a good time. The Preston High Glee club appeared ap-peared on the entertainment program. pro-gram. Among those present at the Preston social were Earl T. James, president of the Utah association, and his wife of Bingham; First Vice President W. E. Smith, who is also the "ingoing" president, and his wife, who is president of the Pacific States Auxiliary of Murray; Chaplain Irving L. Pratt and wife of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. J. K. Piercy of Salt Lake City. Mr. Piercy is a trustee and Mrs. Piercy is president of the Utah State Auxiliary; Chief and Mrs. Walter S. Knight of Salt Lake City; Chief and Mrs. C. W.
