Show , -,1....... o -o CITY RECREATION TO SPONSOR COMEDY History will be made at the local Opera House on the nights of Wednesday and Thursday, October 9 and 10 when the Recreation Cen ter sponsors the two-day appearance appear-ance here of the season's hilarious comedy "The Fatal Wedding," a comedy in three acts with an all male cast. ... Proceeds .of-. lhshoy ; -will, go-iiuo go-iiuo tiie building and buying liinu for the recreational center and marks the last opportunity for the citizens of this community to witness wit-ness a stage show at the old Opera House. The stage and balcony will be torn away after the two performances per-formances to make room for an elaborate program planned for tho coming year. The huge stage show which will necessitate a cast of over 100 people peo-ple is under the direction of the West Coast Producing company of Seattle, Wash. "The Fatal Wedding," Wed-ding," well-known for its comedy feature, has been chosen by the committee and a well-known stage director will arrive in Preston this week to start the activities of cast. t:nu i ne, using, special scenery scen-ery and costumes are brought in for the show.
