Labor has had a government liberal in every way to their cause during the past eight years and the labor movement has made terrific gains over that span, but in view-of the national emergency labor leaders made equally terrific losses .in public good will by calling strikes thai,- tied up defense industries. indus-tries. It leads most of us to suspect that labor isn't really responsible except in that ihey are allowing subversive elements in their ranks of leaders to sabotoge defense progress. But the time is here for drastic action and the res. of us, in spite of a dislike for government in business, herald the move as justified and necessary. |
