Show Complete Results Preston's Popular Horse Show Given APPRECIATES VOTE I would like to take tliis opportunity oppor-tunity to express my appreciation to i he good voters of Franklin County and to my loyal supporters support-ers who were responsible for my nomination on the Democratic lie-1 ket for the position of county j c iimiuissioner from district number num-ber three. Frank Shrives. (advt.) Preston's Third Annual Horse Show first night of the three day celebration, showed to a record breaking crowd for such a show-here show-here last Thursday. The exhibitors and the judges were delighted with the size of the audience and the enthusiasm shown. The audi ence was highly pleased with the I program put on for their enjoyment enjoy-ment and the special exhibition put on by Edgemount Sun from the Edgemount Stables in Salt Lake City, drew much applause. During the 'course of the show there were three accidents and the committee is happy to sa that none of these had serious results. re-sults. The first accident occurred when the HoUingsworth boy was kicked by a colt. He is well and sound now and everyone is indeed happy that his recovery was so quick. The second accident was wjien Miss Margery Sorenson's mount r.ared over backwards and very fortunately did not caicii uie rider. 'Miss Margery was somewhat some-what shaken and bruised, but not seriously and before leaving Pres ton was recovered except for stiffness. stiff-ness. The third accident was when the horse of Mrs. G. O. Wright of Idaho Falls and Boise ran away in the Fine Harness class. Contrary to popular belief Mrs. Wright was only bruised and shocked and the horse has been operated on and is apparently re-'covering re-'covering very rapidly fom the in-juy in-juy to its leg.
