Show Weston To Honor Pioneers MONUMENT WILL BE DEDICATED BY DUP Fete 76th Birthday Of Second Oldest Community In Idaho WESTOX (Special A celebration celebra-tion marking the 76th anniversary ot the establishment of this community com-munity and the dedication of a monument honoring the early pioneers pio-neers will be held here next Tues-iiy, Tues-iiy, April 15, at 3 p. m. A monument has been erected on the southeast corner of the public pub-lic square by the Lone Rock camp of the Daughters of Pioneers with tie cooperation of a number of Weston residents who contributed labor. The monument will bear a plaque with the names of the men ard women who1 pioneered the settlement set-tlement on April 15, 1S65. A band concert will be given by the Weston high school under the direction of Frank Parker, followed by a program of dedication. Officers Offi-cers oj the Central Company of the DUP of Salt Lake City will be present as well as members of the county camps. The public is cordially invited. |
