Show LARGE LIST OF PRIZES OFFERED LIGHTING WINNERS If the number and quality of the prizes in any contest are any indication, indi-cation, this year's Christmas Homo Lighting contest will be the best contest of its kind ever held he.e The windows in the store space just west of the First Security Bank are filled to the brim with a fine assortment of prizes, and we have been assured by the local committee that everyone competing com-peting will win a prize. After hearing the comment last year on the number, of homes decorated deco-rated in Preston, officials are hoping hop-ing to make this city the best decorated dec-orated little city in the country and all indications make it highly possible. - e' The committee has appointed three prominent local people whom they consider to be sincere and ery fair-minded, as judges. Their job shall be done at any time at their convenience between the 15th and 25th and so those decoiaiing are urged to leave their lights on iiom 6 to 10 o'clock at leant, to make sure they don't get misled. Rules for judging will, be on the basis of forty per 'cent for general artistic effect, twenty per cent foi conformity to Christmas spiiit, twenty per cent for cleverness or ingenuity, and twenty per cent foi elaborateness. In order that no one is missed the committee urges that everyone iegister with either David Johnson, Gaylord Larsen, or Arthur Meek, committee members, or the Clarion Newspaper office.
