Show MOUND VALLEY NEWS NOTES By BARBARA McGREGOR mmmmmmmmwmmmm Mrs. Eleanor Perry of Preston spent the week-end with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Perry. Miss Lorraine Perry and Miss Lenore McGregor, students of the Weber college in Ogden spent the week-end visiting their friends and parents in Mound Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Collins, former resident of Mound Valley returned from California for a short visit with his parents Mr. and Mrs. George Collins. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Egbert of Pocatello accompanied by his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Eva Smith were visiting friends and relatives of Grace and Mound Valley. I Mr. and Mrs Leslie Neeley of Riverdale were visiting their daughter Mrs. Weldon McGregor, j Sunday afternoon. The Mound Valley Relief Society will hold a special program Tuesday Tues-day featuring old time songs and recitations. Mrs. Clara Forman of Cleveland is visiting with her daughter Mrs. Aroet Bennett, of Mound Valley. Miss Margaret McGregor, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. McGregor who recently won a trip to the boys and girls 4-H club congress at Chicago, will return home Tuesday from daho Falls to make further preparations for her trip. She will join other delegates from Idaho, Washington and Oregon. They expect to leave the 26th of this month and return in approximately ten days. Margaret has had eight years of club work. She has completed com-pleted 18 projects and has given forty-three demonstrations. She is the 11th girl from the X Cello club to win a trip to the National Club Congress. This year her cousin, Lenore McGregor Mc-Gregor was alternate in the foods preparation in the state. Miss Lu-Wana Lu-Wana Adams, another member of the X Cello club was alternate in the canning contest of the state. (3 A |
