Smith. The occasion was Mrs. Smith's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Hansen motored to, Burley Saturday. Their son, Hugh, returned home with them. He has been .employed there for sometime. Mr. and Mrs. Lea Auston visited Sunday with Mrs. Austin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Rasmussen. ' Miss Margaret Packer has returned re-turned to work. The MIA are sponsoring a big Harvest Ball this Friday evening. Three prizes will be given away. Everyone is invited. The Misses Delores Hansen and Thora Pearson are staying in Preston where they are employed. Several of the young people of the ward attended the Hallowe'en Carnival at Thatcher last Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Westerberg motored to Logan a day last week on business. Keith Hansen spent a few days last week visiting school in Mink Creek while out for beet vacation. Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Jepsen motored mo-tored to Laketown, Utah, Sunday where Mr. Jepsen was to sing with the Preston Melodians. Mr. and Mrs. Marve Packer and son, Stanley, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Chris Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Hansen and Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Jepsen attended at-tended the party in honor of the retiring Primary presidency in Mink Creek Monday of last week. |
