Show AAA Program Elections Are Scheduled During Next Week Elections to choose farmer-com- milteemen who will administer the affairs of the AAA program in Franklin county will be held next week, li.W. Geddes, chairman of the AAA committee, announced this week. The county is divider into five communities, each of which lias its own meeting and elects its own body of three committeemen cbaiman, vice-chairman and tegular tegu-lar member, and two alternates. They represent their neighborhoods in making farm program recommendations recom-mendations and assist county committees com-mittees in explaining the. application applica-tion of the various phases of the program to their neighbors. At the community meetings a delegate to the county convention is also boKen. Schedules of the community election elec-tion meetings follows: Community No. 1 Peston, Wed nesday, November 13. Community No. 2 Franklin, Wednesday, November 12. Community No. Dayton, Wednesday, Wed-nesday, November J2. Community No. 4 . Winder, Thursday, November 13. Community No. f - Glencoe, Thursday, November .'!. All meetings are scheduled 1o begin a fi:00 p. m. with balloting to commence at 8.30 p. m. At the county convention scheduled sched-uled for November 18, the community com-munity delegates elect a county AAA committee composed of chairman chair-man vice-chairman, regular member, mem-ber, and two alternated to take office on January 1 19-12. All farmers who participated in the AAA program in 1941 are eligible eli-gible for election as commiteemen and to cast ballots iu the election. |
