Rotary delegates and wives attending at-tending were Dr. and Mrs. Allan Cutler, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Johnson, John-son, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Crockett, Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Worley, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fryer, Mr. and Mrs. William Davis, Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Shumway, and M. W. Hendricks. Rev. Frank A. Rhea of Boise was elected governor of the Utah-Idaho district during- the sessions. Retiring Retir-ing governor David S. Romney of Ogden keynoted the; convention with an opening address. "We have gone far in modernizing modern-izing toward a better world, but have neglected the end, which is man himself," Romney stated. Other principal speakers included includ-ed Dr. Bruce Baxter, methodist bishop, of the Portland area, and C. Albert Oulton of Saskatoon, Canada, Cana-da, international director. |
