Show WESTON : WESTGX Elva Egbert of Salt Lake was a visitor during the week at the 'home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Felix Fellers. Mrs. Harvey Rasmussen has returned re-turned home from a visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Talbot Tal-bot at Winder. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Dunkley and children of Fairview at the home of Mr. and Roland Williams during the week. Mrs. LeGrande Spencer of Logan has been visiting for some time at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Preston while she is recuperating from a recent appendicitis appen-dicitis operation. Mrs. Spencer was Miss Fay Treston. She will leave soon for St. Louis. Mo., to join her husband who is attending medical school there. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Williams spent the week-end at ths home of their parents in Malad. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Golightly of Preston visited during the week at the home of her mother, Mrs. Viola Burbank. The many relatives and friends here of James Rasmussen are sorry to learn of the death of their 13-year-old son. Friday evening at Malad First ward recreation hall Mr. and Mrs. De.Vlar Taylor were honored at a charming wedding reception given by the parents of the bride Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Corbridge. Til the receiving line with the bride and bridegroom were Mr. and Mrs. Corbridge, Mr. and Mrs. Vaughan Taylor, parents of the bridegroom, Mrs. Sarah Tuttle of Bountiful, grandmother of Ihe bride, Mrs. Annie Packer of Logan, jvrandmoth-cr jvrandmoth-cr of thj bridegroom, the maid of honor. Miss Christie Corbridge, the brides maids Miss Agnes Howe of Preston, Miss LaPrele Taylor of Weston, Miss Carol Dailies of Logan Lo-gan and the best man Merlin Bas-tian. Bas-tian. The bride wore a lovely white crepe gown with fingertip length veil. During the evening she threw her bridal bouquet which was caught by Miss LaPrele Taylor, A program, dancing and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed by all present. The yonng couple were the recipients recipi-ents of many beautiful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Renard Pierson of Cornish were Weston visitors during dur-ing the week. Peter Maughan of Salt Lake' City is spending some time with his children and: friends here. Keith Simpson of Oakley, Idaho, is visiting here with relatives and friends during beet vacation. Mr. Floyd Stockton left the first of the week to attend a school in Pocatello, Idaho. Mrs. Beth Shoal spent the beet vacation with her husband and sou at Pleasant Grove, Utah. Alfred Jensen motored to Salt Lake to spend a short time with his wife who has been ill there in a hospital for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nelson are the proud parents of a baby girl. |
