Show URGES STOPPAGE OF PAPER WASTE Stoppage of the waste paper has been urged by Leon Henderson Administrator of the office of Price I Administiation, in a communica tion to C.vilian Defense Councils throughout tha nation. Mel Reeves, chairman of the Franklin county council, has urged all housewives and storekeepers to cooperate in the conservation oi paper of all kinds. In his communication, Hcnder son stated: "The general public is not com pletely informed on the value ol waste paper as a source of small income or as a charitable gift These facts should be brought to the attention of every one. "Some of the people who are familiar with the waste paper conservation con-servation effort suggest that facili ties may not be adequate for collection. collec-tion. Dealers and charities are clamoring for waste paper. Dealers are glade to buy it, and the chanties, chan-ties, Boy Scouts, Boys' Clubs, etc. are glad to get donations which are -the same as money gifts." |
