Show LOCALS Clifford Whitehead, Nashville, was taken to the Preston hospital Thursday where he underwent an appendectomy. Baltzar Peterson received word this week of the death of his brother broth-er George Peterson, in California. The body was taken to Morgan, Utah, for burial. Mr and Mrs. Donald Hurd and Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Fuhrlman of Logan left Sunday for a twelve day vacation trip to Seattle, Wash. Mr?. L. E. Hansen was a weekend week-end guest at Logan at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kimber Hansen. Mrs. Ed Crockett and Mrs. Russell Rus-sell Crockett were in Ogden on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs'. Ben Cazier attended attend-ed the funeral of Mrs. Cazier's sister-in-law at Logan last Thursday. . Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Porter of Franklin were the parents of a girl born May 23 at the Preston hospital. Mrs. Rulon Dunn is visiting with her mother in Salt Lake City this week. LeGrande Chatterton returned to Boise Monday after spending a few days at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Chatterton. Mrs. Leslie Checketts and Lola and Mark Checketts attended the graduation exercises in Providence, Utah, Friday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Miles, Bantda, are the parents of a girl born May 22 at the Preston hospital. Mrs. Emma Petterborg., Mrs Mary A. Jamison and Mrs. Laura Gamble, former Relief Society associates, as-sociates, visited at the home of Mrs. Etta Owen last Wednesday afternoon. Week-end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Anderson were Mr. and Mrs. Dee Anderson of C.li- fornia. Thq Andersons were en route to Burley, Idaho, where they plan to make their Jjome.
