Show I-CLIFTON CLIFTON Mrs. Chloe Howell is spending a few weeks in Cali.or-nia Cali.or-nia with some of her children. The Seniors of Clifton high school are giing a Carnival dance Friday, March 14. A good orchestra I has been arranged for. The Sunday School held a Union meeting here last Sundoy. Ben Johnson of the stake board was in attendance. Lott Viehweg gave a very fine lesson which was enjoyed by all. Mr. Johnson gave j some very good instructions. j Because of the illness of a broth- j er, Enoch Nelson was called to Salt Lake City recently. A Scout court o honor was held in Clifton Sunday night in connection connec-tion with the Sacrament meeting. . The house was filled with the many Scouts and parents from several j wards of the Oneida Stake. Paul Y. Dunn of Logan gave a very good talk. Several musical numbers were enjoyed by all. Two hundred awards were given to the Scouts. I Many of our townspeople attend- ed the meeting of the National Farm Loan association given at the Fourth ward meeting house. The program was enjoyed by all 1 including the delicious lunch served serv-ed by the Relief Society ladies. |
