Show BETTER BUSINESS IN 1941 PREDICTED Tom Doyle, owner of the local Gamble Store dealership returned Saturday from the 16th annual sales conference of the Gamble Store organization which was held in Denver on Thursday and Friday of last week. Nearly SOO Gamble store managers mana-gers and authorized dealer store owners attended this meeting which brought together men from Ore gon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska, Colorado and Kansas for the purpose of discussing discuss-ing merchandising plans and com pany policies for the coming year. Many officials from the home office of-fice of Gamble Stores addressed the meeting including P. W. Skogmo, president; M. O. Weiby, C. T. Gib son, C. C. Raugust, L. W. Johnson, Frank Masters, Frank Dreblow, Al Matson, Lloyd Jensvold, B. O. Nickander, Paul Gnaum, and others. In addition to company officials, representatives of 31 manufactur era from all sections of, the coun try addressed the meeting. Mr. Doyle states that the com pany officials ara quite encouraged over business prospects for th coming year. He says that M. O Weiby, secretary and merchandis ing manager for the Gamble stori organization had this to say, 'Ir. spite of unsettled international conditions con-ditions we are quite optimistii about business possibilities durint 1941. Because, of improved conditions condi-tions we are laying plans for an aggressive newspaper advertising campaign during the coming year." |
