Show I FRANKLIN s- The Ladies' Literary club met at the home of Mrs. Marvin Neeley Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Homer D. Williams reviewed the book "Borah of Idaho," by Claudius Johnson after which a delicious plate lunch was served to eight members. Mrs. Douglas Corbridge, a new member, wTas present. Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Lowe accompanied ac-companied Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lowe to Salt Lake City Sunday where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ether Biggs and family. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wright and family spent Sunday in Brigham visiting with relatives. The MIA Cast presented the play "It Shall Keep Thee" to a large and appreciative audience Friday evening, the proceeds from which were turned over to the ward building build-ing fund. Dee Cooke, who has been stationed sta-tioned with the Coast Guard in Oregon Ore-gon has. been transferred to New York City, N. Y. Mrs. Emiline Atkinson is in Og-den Og-den visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Violet Gibson. The Franklin high school will hold their Junior Prom, Friday evening. The Collegate band from the USAC will furnish the music. The theme of the dance will be carried car-ried out in a patriotic style. A good crowd is expected. |
