Goaslind ol Salt Lake City spent Idaho r.ay here. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Wright ol Nainpu are here vis. ting wiih relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. II. C. Parkinson of Salt Lake City arrived here for Idaho Day. She spent the week-end visiting visit-ing at the home of Mr. and Sirs. G. L. Wright. Sir. and Sirs. Keith Funk and infant son of Los Angeles are here visiting with Sir. Funk's parents, Mr. and Sirs. A. H. Funk. Mr. and Sirs. Joseph Broadbent and daughter of Ogden were here celebrating Idaho Day. Sirs. Vinnie Perkins and son, Herman Perkins and family of Idaho Ida-ho Falls were here visiting with relatives and friends on Idaho Day. Sir. and Sirs. Thayne Harris of Burbank, California, are here visiting visit-ing with relatives for a few days. Dr. and Mrs. Phillip Evans of St. Anthony called on Sirs. Evan's parents, Sir. and Sirs. A. II. Fuhri-nian, Fuhri-nian, Slonday. Barbara Parkinson spent last week in Salt Lake City visiting with her sister Marian who is employed em-ployed there. Among those who participated in the "Forty Niner's" Day parade in Preston Friday in pioneer at-tirol at-tirol were the Franklin high school band. Madams Eliza Lowe, Slalin-da Slalin-da Peterson, Martha Oliverson, Charlotte Atkinson, Eunice Oliver son, Margaret Adamson, Rachel Neeley Iris Hillyard, Hazel Oliver-son, Oliver-son, Sliss Venna Jean Oliverson and the following children, Gwen Peterson, Morris Durrant, Neil &. Joyce Stokes, Lorraine and Terry Jamison,. Fontell Atkinson, and lleen Hillyard. Mrs. Slary B. Lowe, returned home from Ogden for the Idaho Pioneer Day celebration and to visit with relatives and friends. Sir. and Mrs. Hyruni Rigby and' daughters, Mrs. Vern Parker and Mrs. Jewell Lewis of Hooper, Utah, accompanied -her. Sliss Margaret Egbert of Logan called on Sir. and Sirs. Harold Lowe Sunday. Sliss Egbert was a former teacher in the Franklin school. She has recently returned from Los Angeles where she has been attending. She was aceotn panied by Miss Slary Parish of Logan. Lo-gan. Mr. and Sirs. Chris Sorenson of Bancroft called on Sirs. Sorenson's Parents, Sir. and Mrs. Joseph A. Stone. Sir. and Mrs. C. F. Lystrup and family of Pocatello spent the weekend week-end at the home of Sir. and Mrs. H. C. Atkinson. Sir. and Sirs. Bill Harris and family of Brigham City spent Saturday Sat-urday at the home of Sir. and Mrs. Cecil Woodward. Arthur Lowe of Long Beach, Calif., returned home this week after a 10 day visit with his uncle, John Lowe and family and other relatives and friends. Weston Smith and Delos Hansen, home missionaries of Preston! were speakers at sacrament meeting meet-ing here Sunday evening.
