Show FINAL RITES SET FRIDAY FOR PRESTON PIONEER Another pioneer settler of this area passed on Tuesday with the death of Lamoni Taylor at the age of S5 years. Mr. Taylor died at the home of a son in Swan Lake. Funeral Fu-neral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Fourth ward chapel in Preston. He had spent the major part of his life in Preston where for many years ho was engaged in ranching. He was also a contractor and helped help-ed to build the O.S.L. main line west of Preston. Lamoni Taylor was born In llar-risville. llar-risville. Utah, a son of Joseph and Hannah Mariah Taylor. His w"'"1 Lenora Taylor preceded him in death 12 years ago. Surviving are eight sons ami three daughters. They are James Daniel Taylor of Banida, Uawson Lamoni Taylor of Snutlificld. Harold Har-old of Preston, Earl Harris of Twin Falls, Idaho. Horace Taylor 1 of Logan, Heber Leroy of Clifton, Glen of Swan Lake, Milton Louis of Rock Springs, Wyo., and lil-nora lil-nora Mortensen of Salt Lake City, ; Viola Ruth Kirby of Preston, Coral i Mary Johnson of Logan. Interment will be at the Logan cemetery with the Hendricks mortuary mort-uary in charge. |
