Show FUNERAL SERVICES FRIDAY FOR ALBERT WFUNK FRANKLIN (Special) Funeral services for Albert W. Funk, 63, well-known resident of this county will be held, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Franklin ward chapel with Bishop Frank E. Woodward in charge. Mr. Funk died Wednesday at his home following an extended illness. ill-ness. He had been a resident here since 1906. Mr. Ftiuk was born November 16, 1877, in Richmond, Utah, a son of Christopher and Malinda Knapp Funk. He moved to Franklin in 1906. From 1S97 to 1S93, he served as an LDS missionary in California. He also had served as clerk ot Franklin LDS ward, assistant Sunday Sun-day School superintendent, a president presi-dent of the Franklin quorum of seventy and a high priest of Franklin Frank-lin LDS stake. He had served as clerk of Franklin Frank-lin town board, as an employee of Utah Power and Light company, and as a barber in Franklin. Surviving are his widow, the former for-mer Alice Biggs; three sons and one daughter, Marlow B. Funk of Preston, Keith Funk of Alhambra, Calif.; William M. Funk, of Franklin Frank-lin and Mrs. Thora Goodsell of Los Angeles, Cal., six grandchildren and one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Rozina Halgren of Tooele, Utah; James Funk of Salt Lake City and Clarence Funk of Richmond. Hendricks mortuary will he in charge. |
