Show Record Turnout For Annual Rifle Matches Here Sunday . Chalking up 1948 points of a possible pos-sible 200(1. the Salt Lake Small Arms nriemen-captured first place in the seventh annual Utah-Idahq De-War shoot held here last Sunday. Sun-day. Pushing the winners in the match for first place, however, was the Murray, Utah, riflemen who scored 1942 points for second place. The Pocatello Rifle and Pistol club was third with 1934 points. Over TOO riflemen from Utah, and Idaho competed in the team matches match-es in what was described as the most successful rifle shoot the Preston club has sponsored. There were 57 entered in the individual "any sight" matches,' Winner of tb,e cup contributed by Preston, chamber of Commerce for individual marksmanship was Harold Greer of Boise. His score of 396 was tied with the top five marksmen, but his targets edged edged his opponents in ''X's," Second Sec-ond was L. C, Burnham, Pocatello, 396; E, Eskildsen, Ogden, 396; Lawrence Turley, Logan, 396; Ivan Anderson, Idaho Falls, 39G; Roy Thomas .Murray, 395; J. C. Dear-don, Dear-don, Murray, 395; Glen Pickett, Idaho Falls, 394; W. J. Patterson Salt Lake City, 393; Harold See-holzer, See-holzer, Logan, 393; and Pete Jorgensen, Jor-gensen, Preston, 393. The Pocatello Junior Legion team won first place in the junior team matches, and were awarded the junior trophy. Teams entered were Provo Union Pacific, Provo Legion, Pocatello Legion, Pocatello Rifle and Pistol club. Members of the Preston team were P. Jorgensen, A Jorgensen, C. Jorgensen, A. Anderson, R.
