Show FRANKLIN s : FRANKLIN Mrs. Russel Bradford Brad-ford entertained her club members at 500 and luncheon at her home Thursday afternoon. Additional guests were Mrs. Lavar Doney, Mrs. Wayne Rich and Mrs. Jim Ilowarth, Mrs. Robert Wright received high score and Mrs. Howarth, guest prize. Mr. and Mrs.-' Harold C. Lowe were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Wheatley of Honeyville, Sunday. The- Gaiety club was, entertained Wednesday afternoon at bridge and luncheon at the home of Mrs. Roland Ro-land Parkinson. Mrs. Sheldon Doney received high score and Mrs. Alvin Atkinson drew all-cut. Luncheon was served on one long table which was centered with daffodils daf-fodils to eight members. Bill Coltrin and Alma Morrison left Wednesday for San Diego, Cal., where they have employment. Mr. and Mrs. Merle Adamson and son, Gene, spent Saturday in Og-den. Og-den. Mrs. Manual Packer spent last week in Rexburg visiting at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. "and Mrs. Lester Thompson. Thomp-son. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Pilgrim of Malad were over-night guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vein Oli-verson, Oli-verson, Saturday. Members of the Birthday club entertained at a luncheon and social so-cial Monday afternoon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Porter to commemorate the birthday anniversaries anni-versaries of Mrs. Porter, Mrs. oel-ma oel-ma Whitehead and Miss Be'ty Whitehead, whose birthdays were all within the week. Members or the club including the guests of honor are: Mrs. Peter G. Whitehead, Mis. Lester Corbridge of Preston, Mrs. Dee Kingstord, Mrs. Reed, Jamison, Mrs. Stuart Geddes of Banida and Mrs. Leland Morrison. Table game3 afforded entertainment followed by luncheon. Mrs. Ivan Woodward and infant daughter returned home Sunday from Preston where she has beeji staying at the homej'.of her mother Mrs. Joan Doney. The . Misses Helen and Grace Oliverson spent Monday in Salt Lake City. They were accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Mayme Judas of Logan. Lo-gan. Mi andi Mrs. Sheldon Doney attended at-tended a wedding dinner Sunday at the home of; Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks Hen-dricks in Lewiston, honoring Lt. and Mrs. Erwini Wursten who were recently married. . Mrs. Doney also attended a shower at the home of Rhoda Dopp in Logan on Monday evening in honor of the recent bride. . Scoutmaster Marvin Neeley accompanied ac-companied a group of Scouts to Logan Lo-gan this week where they attended a 3-day school of scouting. Mrs. Howard Rush and son, Bob. of Ogden were dinner guests at the homo of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Bradford, Sunday. The Pioneer City Lions club received re-ceived the attendance award at the Inter-City Lions meet heldj at Preston Pres-ton last week. Members and their wives attending were President Bartlet Nash, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lowe, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Robinson, Robin-son, Mr. and Mrs. Homer D.
