Show DURRANT FAMILY HAS REUNION MEETING SATURDAY Fifty descendants of the late Thomas H. Durrant held their rami ly reunion Saturday, March TO to commemorate his 92ml birthday an niversary which was P.hu .li 27. I.Tr Durrant died at the ape of 90 year and throe month.:, c.f hi-, eleven sons and daughters living, sc vn were present at the reunion with their families. They were ulrs. Elvira Mendenhall and Mrs. Phoebe Robinson or Preston; Mrs. Annie Lowe of Poeatello; William, Alon-zo, Alon-zo, and Alma Durrant and Mrs. Maude Adainson of Franklin. Othei survivors of Thomas H. Durrant and wife. Agnes Nish Durrant are 53 grand children, 75 great-grand child born while Mr. Durrant was living. Luncheon was served at noon in the school lunch rooms, followed by a program and games the remainder re-mainder of the afternoon. Thomas Durrant and Douglas Naef were in charge of the; program wdiich consisted con-sisted of community singing, readings, read-ings, songs and music. The welcome wel-come address was given by Lorin Mendenhall. Games were under the direction of Mrs. Ida Britenoe ker and Mrs. Veda Didrickson oi Preston. Among those who attended attend-ed from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Porter of Ririe who remained re-mained over the week-end to visit with) Mr. and Mrs. B. J. Porter and other relatives and friends. i |
