Show Ross Moser Wins Union Pacific Scholarship Award Ross Roser, active young FFA member, was awarded the Union Pacific scholarship from, Franklin county to the University of Idaho, it was announcced here this week. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Moser. The scholarship award is at the U of I at Moscow and amounts to $100 in. cash to help defray expenses. expens-es. Judging is based on project work, grades, leadership ability, future fu-ture farmer activities, and other similar merits. Selected as alternate was Warren. War-ren. McEntire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wells McEntire. He is a junior, however, and will hdve another op. portunity at the award next year. Ross' project program included the raising ofi feeder steers, sheep, grade dairy, registered dairy, beets an peas. He is now in the registered regis-tered dairy business, is a senior in high school, and is vice-president of the southeastern Idaho district of Future Farmers of America, o o |
