Show Teachers Adopt Theme For Study Program Supt. R. F. Campbell reports that the teachers of the Preston schools have adopted as the central theme for their professional study program pro-gram this year the problem, of evaluating the work of the school Rather careful attention will be given to the purposes of the school and of the various subject fields. Then an attempt will be made to-set to-set up student behavior which would seem to exemplify the fulfillments ful-fillments of these purposes. Various methods of testing for this behavior be-havior will then be studied. Teachers have been divided into four major committees for this evaluation study. These committees commit-tees are as follows: Reading, Mathematics, Social Living, which includes the language arts and social so-cial studies; and Teaching in which the work of the teachers will be evaluated. General meetings are held once a month and the various committees commit-tees meet at more frequent meetings. meet-ings.
