Show LOCAL CAGERS BEGIN NEW CAMPAIGN With four returning squad members mem-bers from last year's main team, none letter winners, to build a teum around, rreston High's chances on the maple court this year appear only fair. Experienced members returning ' are Marcel Chatterton and Glen Ollverson, both of football, fame, and Ira Taylor Tay-lor and Stewart Paton. Two other seniors who played second team basketball two year's ago but who gained their major experience last year while playing M Men bull have again turned to high school basketball and are in the thick of the fight for main team berths. They are John Smith and Elwood Peterson. Eight Juniors are bidding impositions im-positions on the team to date with Blaine Lemmons leading the fight. This tall, red-haired lad was a leader of the B squad last year and saw some experience at center for the main ten during last year's campaign. Others who are in the thick of the fight for positions are Duane Hobbs, Blaine Taylor, Dale Callan, Neal Hart, Bill Palmer, Keith Nee-ley, Nee-ley, and Earl Dean Kern. Probably the brightest spot on Coach Joe Johnson's squad is the ten sophomores who will probably make up the major part of this year's B squad. These ten youths all have a good knowledge of the game and all are of better than average av-erage height. Much is expected of them in their next two years. Included in the group is Wilmar Condle, DeRay Crockett, Dennis Hall, Sid Garrett, Richard Carlson, Ray Johnson, Maurice Merrill, Alton Al-ton Winger, Russell Kearl, and Clair Poole. With the gymnasium remodelei to allow a slightly larger playing floor and no corners lapping out over the floor the game should prove much more interesting. The race track has been removed and two rows of seats constructed up stairs which will allow for additional addi-tional seating capacity. Ths first game of the season scheduled so far will find the Indians In-dians traveling to Richmond, Utah, for a game with North Cache. They then meet North Cache in a return game on the local' floor on December Decem-ber 18.
