Show Christmas Seal Campaign To Get Underway Here Friday Chairman Announces Proceeds From Annual Drive To Go For Combatting Tuberculosis Mrs J. J- Sttiiford, chairman of Franklin county chapter of the Anti-Tuberculosis association, an nounced today that the Tuberculosis Tuberculos-is Christinas Seal Sale campaign WH1 open in Preston Friday, November No-vember 29. The association announces that though no vaccine has been perfected per-fected for prevention and no drug is available for treatment and cure, we are far from being helpless against tuberculosis. We can control, con-trol, eventually rid this country of tuberculosis through education. There are only a few fnc's we need to know and act upon. Tuberculosis is catching. It can be in advanced stages before any symptons appear. ap-pear. Early tuberculosis can be discovered with the X-ray and early tuberculosis can be cured. Remember Education Is "Vaccine." Workers will make a house to house canvass throughout the county coun-ty to sell these seals for which the funds received will go towards tuberculosis tu-berculosis prevention and cure.
