Show . u . o Civic Clubs Set Meeting At Montpelier SPEAKERS EXPECTED! FROM STATEHOUSE To Make Tour Here On Highway And Fish-Game Needs Extensive plans for the March meeting of the Associated Civic clubs of Southeastern Idaho to oe held at Montpelier on March 28 has been announced here by President Ben Johnson. In attendance will be Governor Chase Clark; Commissioner of Public Pub-lic Works Allen C. Merritt, District Engineer Ray Hunter, Fish and Game Commissioner- Morris, and Highway Commissioner Balderston. Among the road tours to be taken will be the Preston-Grace highway. County commissioners and representatives repre-sentatives from the Chamber of Commerce are expected to meet with the state officials and make the road tour with them. Another inspection tour rf inter-lestlto inter-lestlto this county will be that contemplated con-templated by Fish and Game Commissioner Com-missioner Morris to the proposed site of a fish hatchery on Whiskey creak. It is hoped that a large delegation delega-tion from this community will plat, to attend the Montpelier meeting. |
