Show Plans Completed For I Lees Ferry Celebration Tentative plans for the celebration at Lees Ferry on October r 11 12 and 13 3 have ha b been en announced by Iby Benjamin Cameron Cameran Jr field r representative of the Associated Civic Clubs of S Southern South South- uth em ern n Utah and general chairman of the celebration Mr Cameron returned Monday from Irons Flagstaff Ariz where he conferred with G. G A A. A London Immigration immigration immigration Im im- migration commissioner of or Coconino county the Arizona member of the general committee Mr Cameron and Mr London visited the site of th the I crossing and located places for the camps program and other features of the event that is to be held annually The celebration is sponsored by the Associated Clubs of ot Southern Utah in cooperation with Coconino County Arizona 1 in 1 honor of the L L. D. D S S. pioneers who crossed the Colorado Colorado Colo Colo- rado river there to establish settle- settle mente In Arizona The general Idea is to make the celebration as nearly as possible resemble re resemble re- re emble the conditions as the pioneers found them The committee has a list of surviving members of or the various parties which made the crossing and andare andare andare are Inviting th them m and their descendants descendants descend descend- ants to attend as special guests The dates were ere set to allow time for fora a caravan of Arizona people to attend the L.
