Show CLARKSTON i o o Clarkston On Saturday, May 14 the grave of Martin Harris in the , Clarkston cemetery was visited visit-ed by about 800 members of the Aaronic Priesthood of the LTJ.S. church. They came from neighboring neighbor-ing stakes and from many towns in Utah. Programs of speeches and church songs were enjoyed. The boys, their fathers, from Clarkston ward joined Smithfield stake at Washakie where they enjoyed en-joyed the wonderful program given giv-en by the Indians. The afternoon was spent at Udy Springs. Miss Myrtle Larson of Smith-field Smith-field and George Cooper of Wellsville Wells-ville were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Godfrey on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David C. Thompson Thomp-son spent Sunday in Ogden. Wmi. T. McCombs of Grand Coulee 'Washington was a dinner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Goodey on Sunday. Sun-day. Aaron Barson is building a new-home. new-home. Miss Corinne Godfrey was the honored guest at a surprise party held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Godfrey on Saturday. Luncheon was served by her sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hanson Han-son of Dayton and Mrs. Rolf Tud-denham Tud-denham of Newton. Thirty five i guests enjoyed the afternoon. Miss Jennie Ravsten and the boys from the Guides class in Primary Pri-mary enjoyed a picnic in Citj Creek canyon on Tuesday evening. even-ing. Miss Vera Ravsten is spending a week with her parents, Mr. anJ Mrs. F. M. Ravsten. She is employed em-ployed at Tremonton. Miss Sarah Heggie, Miss Corinne Cor-inne Godfrey, John and Andrew Heggie were guests at a party on Friday evening given by the faculty fac-ulty of the Bear River high school Mr. and Mrs. Barson Goodej spent Saturday visiting in Brigham Brig-ham City. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Thompsor were visiting friends in Salt Lake on Tuesday and Wednesday. H. S. Barson and John Barsor spent Friday in Ogden. |
