Show To Observe Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. John H. Taylor Tay-lor Sr., Married in England June 3, 1888. It will be fifty years on Friday, June 3 that John Henry Taylor and Evelyn Eliza Holman entered the marriage alter in England and became man and wife. During the past fifty years this worthy couple cou-ple have had a - world of experience. exper-ience. They have for the most part enjoyed good health and have lived happily together. On Friday, June 3, they will hold open house at their home, 130 South, 5th West street, where friends may call between the hours of 3 to 6 p. m. j Mr. Taylor was born January 11, 1863 in London, England. His father was a soldier in the Cold Stream Guards. He has one sister sis-ter still living in England. Her name is Mrs. E. WJlson. Mrs. Taylor was born April 5, 1869 at Cooley, England. Two sisters, sis-ters, Mrs. Margaret Freeman and Mrs. Clara Brown and one brother bro-ther I. B. Holman, reside in Logan. Lo-gan. Mr. and Mrs. Taylor are the parents of four children, two having hav-ing died in England and the two living children are John H. Taylor Tay-lor Jr., of Logan and Mrs. L. H. Strong of Ogden. They have eight grand children. This worthy couple arrived in Logan, May 20, 1910. They moved to Rexburg for a while and later returned to Logan where Mr. Taylor Tay-lor was employed by Bordens for 22 years. The Cache American extends congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Taylor. |
