Show PHYDEPARK j f : : : Hyde Park The William Hyde camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers met at the home of Mrs. Phebe Ashcroft, Thursday afternoon after-noon with Mrs. Mame Waite as assisting hostess. Mrs. Florence Hancey read a 'sketch of the life of Annie ML. Hancey. The lesson "Indian Women of . the West" was treated by Mrs. Helen Lamb. Miss Eulalia Lee rendered . two vocal solos. Luncheon was served to 34. The M Men and Gleaner Girls held their annual banquet in the ward amusement hall Wednesday evening. Supper was served to 74. Theron Ashcroft acted as master i of ceremonies. Responses were given giv-en by J. W. Hyde and Ervin Seamons. Sea-mons. Athalie Howell and Carrie McQuairte sang a vocal duet. Mervin Mer-vin Petersen played a cornet solo. The rest of the evening was spent dancing. - James Seamons, Vern Seamons, Keith Hurren, Douglas . Myron Seamons left Monday morning for Salt Lake City to attend the mission, school prior to Mrs. James Seamons and new baby girl returned to their home Thursday, from a local hospital Mr. and Mrs. Ernest R. Lee of Logan were visiting relatives in town Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Halverson' and two sons of Salt Lake City were the house guests of Bishop and Mrs. J. W. Seamons, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Lee spent Sunday in Hyrum visiting at the leaving for the German mission. He was accompanied by Bishop and Mrs. J. W. Seamons, Miss Annalean Seamons and Miss Carol Hatch. Mrs. Richard Galloway has returned re-turned from (California, where she spent the winter. Mrs. Myrtle Balls was guest of honor at a lovely party given in honor of her birthday anniversary Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Emma, Purser and Mrs. Elsie Hyde were in charge of the party. Bridge was the feature of the afternoon, followed by a dainty spring luncheon. lun-cheon. Gay spring flowers were used in decorating the living rooms. Dr. Call of Salt Lake City gave a very interesting in-teresting lecture on venereal diseases, dis-eases, illustrating his talk with two special films. A very large crowd attended. Mrs. Julia Lee, Mrs. Avon Lamb and Miss Eulalia Lee spent Wednesday Wed-nesday in Salt Lake City.
