Show Jos. H. Downs Died Tuesday At Logan Home Joseph Hadkinson Downs, 70, a resident of Logan since 1876, died at his home, 750 North Main street, Tuesday after a short illness. ill-ness. He was born in England, January Janu-ary 3, 1868, a son of John R. and Helen Hadkinson Downs. He came to this country when 8 years old and had been active in church ' work. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lena Summers Downs; six sons ' and daughters, Mrs. Florence H. Ralphs of Clifton, Idaho; Mrs. Joseph Christensen of Salmon,, Idaho; Mrs. Lila Nelson of Washington, Wash-ington, D. C; Mrs. Hosmer Grace of Nephi and Wesley and Elmo Downs of Logan, and 19 grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral arrangements are being made with Lindquist & Sons mortuary. mor-tuary. Services will be in the 9th ward, Friday at 1 p. m. |
