Show 1 PROVIDENCE - Providence The cattle men of our community have been busy branding and marking, their cattle cat-tle and a drive was made last weekend for the season in Logan canyon. Thomas Russon of ILehi, Mr. and Mrs. L. Holbrook of Clearfield and Dale Holbrook, visited at the home of Mir. and Mrs. E. A. Cfaugg on Friday,. Mr. Chugg came home from the hospital on Friday where he spent ten days following a major operation. opera-tion. He is recovering satisfactorily satisfactor-ily Mrs. Henry Dattage submitted to an appendicitis operation on Saturday. She is getting along nicely. Glen Robinson arrived home last week, from California where he has had employment for several sev-eral months. Mrs. Thomas Jessop spent Friday Fri-day at the home of her daughter Mrs. Budge Low. Leland Zollinger arrived home on Monday from Mackay, Idaho, after spending about two weeks there on the Zollinger ranch.. Mr. and Mrs. F. R. Checketts and family have gone to the grove, west of town for the summer, sum-mer, where they can be close to his place of business, the Grove Chicken Inn. A number of our famous fishermen fisher-men were prepared for the season's opening on Sunday. The First ward Primary rendered ren-dered their annual May Festival in the ward chapel on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Cardon, Mrs. Crook-i Crook-i ston and Mrs. Larsen of the Pri-I Pri-I mary Stake Board were in atten-. atten-. dance. The affair went over very . well.
