W Forsyth was here with her parents co oo o- o Sunday morning Herbert Knell Knelt came up to get his parents to to take them down to Newcastle where a surprise was planned for the father by the children it being his sixty- sixty sixth birthday They were taken to Sunday school and after it was over they were driven to Mr and arid Mrs Joe Eldridge's Eldridges home where their awaiting the father were all his hla children and grandchildren except Mr and Mrs John Chadburn and family His brother broth broth- er James was present also alao the company com corn pany numbering three thirty-three in all A table was spread with the good things of the earth and all did justice to them In the trie afternoon singing and speaking were enjoyed and a poem was read in behalf of Mothers Mother's Day written by Lem Lcm Dallin Music was also enjoyed Everyone pres present nt thoroughly enjoyed the da day |
