Show I LOCAL ITEMS I OF INTEREST Mr. and Mrs. Howard Norman and Grant Chidestor motored to Goshen . Sunday and visited with friends. - The Misses Ovila and Beryl Bown, students of tiie Agricultural college at Logan, are at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bown. After a short vacation, Miss Ovila Bown will return north to attend summer school. Miss Beyrl Bown will spend the summer vacation in Gunnison. Mrs. C E. Ferre went to Salt Lake Friday of last week to be present at the graduation of her daughter, Blanche Ferre, from the University. Miss Ferre has completed a normal course. Mrs. Ferre remained in the city to attend a M. I. A. conference and primary jubilee. Mr. and Mrs. E. Van Sanders and . Miss Zena Williams of Kaysville, returned re-turned north Tuesday after being the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hart J. Sanders at Spearmint. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Sorenson are the happy parents of a fine baby girl, born to them Monday of this week. Both mother and daughter are doing splendidly. . Howard Williams of Kaysville, was here for a few days the first of the week and was the guest at the James Bown home.' Miss Alta Norris and Miss Geneal Beck are spending a few weeks at Kanab and Grand canyon. Before returning they expect to visit in Central Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. II. K. Larsen have gone to Emery to spend a month or more with their sons and families. Mr. and Mrs. George Larsen and Mrs. Frank Matthews, Salt Lake, were guests of relatives in Gunnison Saturday and Sunday. Dan Larson, who has been with the Manti Livestock company at the Salina canyon camp, is here for a . two weeks vacation and is visiting with his wife and family. 1 T Mr. and Mrs. James Metcalf, who spent a week here visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. Garrick Roylance, local Chrysler dealer, spent the early part of the week at Fairview and other north Sanpete towns. Mr. and Mrs. Fred H. Jones motored motor-ed to Goshen Sunday, returning the same evening. On their return, they were accompanied by Miss Gwendolyn Jones, who had been at Goshen for a couple of weeks visiting with her aunt, Mrs. Russel Nelson. Mrs. G. D. Peery is leaving tomorrow tomor-row for an extended visit with friends I and relatives in northern cities.
