Show Gunnnison Woman Married In Temple Miss Mable Larsen, the accom-lished accom-lished daughter of Ole Larsen of this city, and widely known in church and educational circles here, was married this morning to' Paul Eggertsen, son of S. P. Eggertsen of Trovo. The marriage was performed at the Salt Lake temple. The announcement of the marriage will be greeted with a great pleasure by the hundreds of friends of the new bride, and she, as well as Mr. Eggertsen, will have the best wishes for a long and happy married life. Mrs. Eggertsen, a native of Gunnison, Gun-nison, grew to womanhood in this city, and after attending the grade schools she graduated from the Gunnison Gun-nison Valley high school. Later she attended the' L. D. S. college, where she. completed her studies with high honors. Some two years ago she filled fill-ed a mission for the Mormon church in New Mexico. She occupied a position posi-tion as assistant postmaster under Leo Gledhill and for the past few months has been employed with the J. C. Penney company in the executive execu-tive offices at Salt Lake. Mr. Eggertsen is also widely known in educational circles. He completed a course at the Brigham Young university uni-versity at Provo, and later completed complet-ed his master's degree at Columbia university at New York City. Mr. and Mrs. Eggertsen will leave Thursday evening, for New York, where they will spend their honeymoon, and later la-ter they wilt go to Philadelphia where they will make their home. Mr. Eggertsen Eg-gertsen will be one of the instructors at the Temple university, and Mrs. Eggertsen will enter the university of Pennsylvania where she will take special, courses. When the announcement was made in Gunnison of the coming marriage, the bride was extensively entertained entertain-ed at dinner and dancing parties, some .six functions being held in compliment com-pliment to the bride-elect. |
