Some twenty guests were present and following a delicious supper sup-per '."00" was played, honors going to Mrs. James Metcalf and J. M. Knighton. Mr. str.d Mrs. J. W. Jones were host and hostess to twenty-two guests at a well appointed dinner party Tuesday evening. Dinner was served at seven -thirty and after the guests played Progressive Five Hundred Hun-dred and in the contest honors for first prizes went to Mrs. Ira Over-feit Over-feit and Fred Jones. Madsen has returned from j a brief business visit to Salt Lake j City. He accompanies a shipment of beef cattle from his ranch which he disposed of at a good price. Anthony Madsen, manager for the C. W. & M. company of this city, has returned from a short business visit to Salt Lake. ' Mr. Madsen was conferring with officials at the Salt Lake offices. Eirney Farnsworth went to Salt Lake last' Friday evening, motoring to the capitol city late in the evening. He was in conference with Adjutant-General Adjutant-General Williams relative to the National Guards of this county. Mrs. T. M. Kearns entertained for the Bonne Foi club members at her home yesterday afternoon from two to five-thirty. Needlecraft, a social time and delicious refreshments were enjoyed by the members present. Mrs. L. J. Arnold was hostess to the members of the O. N. O'. club at a theatre party at the Casino last evening. eve-ning. After the show the guests were taken to the Kozi where light refreshments were served. Mr. and Mrs. Julius Duggins and Miss Theresa Duggins motored to Provo yesterday morning to attend a social function given in honor of one of their friends who is soon to leave for a mission. ' They are expected ex-pected home this evening. Mrs. L. G. Anderson was hostess at a "500" card party at her home yesterday afternoon. Some twenty guests were present and enjoyed a delightful afternoon. Honors , were won by Mrs. J. Ben Roper and Mrs. J. M. Knighton. Dainty refreshments were served at five o'clock. Mrs. J. S. Peterson entetrtained at a Progressive Five Hundred party at her home Friday afternoon of last week. First honors were won by Mrs. Jim Metcalf, while the second went to Mrs. Niel Sorenson. Twenty guests were served with delicious refreshments following the card session. ses-sion. Mrs. Lauritz Anderson and Mrs. Clyde Stevens of Ephraim, who were the guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Chas Rasmussen for a few days this week, returned to their homes yesterday, eing accompanied on the return trip by Mr. and Mrs. Rasmus-sen.
