They a:e relatives of Albert Swain, who died Tuesday morning, and they came in response to a message announcing the serious condition con-dition of Mr. Swain. C. D. Mellor, directors for the Piute Reservoir &'Irrigation company, were at Fillmore Monday of this week, having' been called there in the suit of the Lower Sevier water users against the Piute company. i Mr. and Mrs. Ed Clarke of Pocatello, ! Idaho, came in from the noith last Sunday and are spending the week at ' the home of Mrs. Annie Christensen. They expect to return to Salt Lake Saturday. I Mr. and Mrs. Ted Smith of Idaho Falls were arrivals in the city Sunday. Sun-day. They came in answer to a message mes-sage announcing the serious illness of Albert Swain, father to Mrs. Smith and were here when Mr. Swain died. Clement entertained for twenty guests at a birthday anniversary anniver-sary at her home Wednesday afternoon after-noon of last week. A social afternoon was enjoyed and at five o'clock a delicious deli-cious hot supper was served. Mrs. O. W. Christensen and Catherine Cather-ine and Waynard Christensen, who spent several days at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Fredrickerson, returned re-turned to their homes at Salt Lake Sunday. I.eland Bown, a member of the party that was mixed up in an accident acci-dent at Payson Friday of last week, and at which time two were killed, is a grandson of John Larson of this city. Bown sustained a few scratches and his escape from death, according to advices, was a miracle. - Mrs. I.eland G. Arnold was the charming hostess to the members of the 0. N. O. club at the Wistaria Thursday afternoon of the past week. Mali jongg prizes were won by Mrs. J. E Metcall', Mrs. J. W. Jones and Mrs. J. A. Hagan. Bert Willardson of the imtah Poultry Poul-try Producers Cooperative association, ! accompanied by Mrs. Willardson, was in the city several clays this week. Mr. Willardson was conferring with poultry producers here and at Salina and Richfield, while Mrs. Willardson ! is the guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Willardson. I 1 ! Lafe Frandsen and Joseph, Jensen, two of the prominent farmers and ; stockmen of the Clarion district, were eastbound travelers Tuesday of this week. They accompanied a consignment consign-ment of sheep sent out by the Delmue Livestock company and their destination destina-tion is Ransas City. ' Elmer Snow, who has been taking treatment at the Salina hospital for j the past six weeks or more, was able ! to return to his home last Friday. The many friends of Mr. Snow will be j glad to know that his health is noticeably notice-ably improved.' Mr. and Mrs. -G. H.
