Show CHRISTMAS DAY BRIDE HONORED AT SHOWER Mrs. Otto Lohmoelder, nee Ruth renuns, ana a Dnue oi onnstmas j day, was the motif at a "miscellaneous" "miscellane-ous" shower given by Miss Ida John-! John-! son at the Julius Johnson home last Saturday afternoon. Twenty - five guests were present and the early afternoon was spent at progressive "rook." Mrs. Lohmoelder received many beautiful gifts consisting of fancy work, China and silver and was warmly greeted by her former school friends and associate teachers. At five o'clock the guests, twenty-j twenty-j five, were taken to the Wistaria j where an elaborate luncheon was served. Clever decorations befitting the occasion were featured and were j decidedly clever. The place caids j were miniature umbrellas, signifi-! signifi-! ant of the shower, and on the long stable, were a small bride and grocm j in miniature form. Sweet peas and other flowers were cleverly placed and altogether the effect wns pleasing. pleas-ing. . j In addition to the guest of honor, I whose home is at Provo, others from I outside points were Mrs. William j Perkins of Provo, and Miss Erin a Jacobsen of Salina. |
