Show BUYS J. N. C. STORE Last Friday Lester Jepson, one of Gunnison's well known young business busi-ness men, closed a deal whereby he becomes the sole owner of the J. N. C. grocery store. The deal was made with J. N. Christiansen, who has been conducting the place for the past eighteen months and the stock and good will of the concern figured in the transaction. Mr. Jepson assumed charge the first of this week and upon opening Monday he announced a change in the name. The store will hereafter be known as the City Grocery, Gro-cery, and according to Mr. Jepson he will carry a complete line of staple and fancy groceries. No radical changes are planned at present but later the new owner may make a number of additions to enable him to elaborate in his line. Lester Jepson is a native of this city and he is among the capable young business men of Gunnison. He was with the J. C .Penney company for four years and for nearly a year he was employed employ-ed in the banks of this city and at Torropah. |
