Show Stage Is Set for Grand Natal Day Festivities The stage is set and practically everything is now in readinew for the big celebration of Independence day in Gunnison. During; the past week the several committees have been hard at work arranging ar-ranging programs, planning decorations and outlining in detail for the big event. Gunnison has planned to entertain a big crowd of celebratora and there will be something doing in the way of entertainment naosn of the day. The big day will be ushered in with a salute at sunrise., This will announce the arrival of the day and the signal for donning don-ning holiday attire and preparing for the event. The parade, in which will be seen many floats as well as clubs, city officials and other organizations, will form at 9 o'clock. As the conclusion of the parade the hosts will gather at the Casino theatre where patriotic exercises will be held. At three o'clock in the afternoon, at First East street, -a bis sports program will be staged. An automobile race will be staged on Main street following the sports program and immediately following fol-lowing a game of baseball will be played at the City park, the Gunnison Gun-nison Lions club battling against a. picked team from the city. Between Be-tween five and six a dancing party for boys and girls will be held at the Relief society hall. The program, as now announced at the Casino, is as follows: Singing "America" . . .
