Show CENTERFIELD COUPLE MARRIED AT SALT LAKE Miss Margaret Tassie, daughter of the late James Tassie, and Gordon W. Sorenson, both of Centerfield, were married at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. R. W. Jensen, at Salt Lake City,. Thursday evening of last week. Bishop John Fitzefl officiated of-ficiated at the ceremony. Due to the recent death of the bride's father, the marriage was a quiet affair and only members of the immediate families, fam-ilies, together with a few close friends, were present at the' mar- riage. rne Jensen .noma was ueauu- fully decorated, sweet peas, roses and baby wreath being used in profusion. pro-fusion. Following the marriage a home reception was given the newly-weds. newly-weds. Mr. Sorenson, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris. Sorenson, is well and favorably fa-vorably known in the valley and is one of the young and prosperous farmers. Mrs. Sorenson came to the valley some six years ago and during dur-ing her residence here has made hosts of warm friends and all will join in wishing the bride and groom happiness and prosperity on their matrimonial voyage. They will make their home at Centerfield. |
