Show ! I CENTERFIELD I NEWS ITEMS Mr. and Mrs. Vance Peterson and children, motored in from their hoime at San Francisco the first of this week and are at the home of j Mr. and Mrs. George Peterison. They expect to remain here a month or more. With the visitors was Mrs. P. H. Adams of Santa Barbara. The latter will visit with g-uests at Redmond Red-mond and Salina. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Olsen have ire-turned ire-turned from Manti where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Olsen. Superintendent Hart J Sanders and Mrs. Sanders were travelers to Salt Lake the early days of the week. They expect to spend a week at the capital city combining business with pleasure. Mrs. Alda Larsen is home from Provo, where she has been a student at the B. Y. U. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Fjeldsted encountered en-countered more than their share of gnief on a trip to Provo, and the experience, ex-perience, they state, will last them for some time. The travelers had gone to Provo to accompany their daughters, Misses Arvilla and Melva Fjeldsted, and Misses Fay and Lazel-la Lazel-la Beck home from school and when below Santaquin the axel of the auto was broken. They were towed to Nephi where repairs were made. Continuing Con-tinuing their journey they reached Levan where a more serious break in the car was sustained. An S. O. S. signal was sent to Centerfield and Oswell Beck responded, bringing the travelers safely home. The trip that was planned for a day, required j three. |
