The lesson on the "Southern Mountaineers'' was given following which dainty refreshments were served by Mrs. R. H. Yardley and Mrs. Fergus Bjerregar.nl. A social soc-ial hour was enjoyed before adjournment adjourn-ment was taken. ' Members of the Gunnison ward will entertain at a "ward party" at the ward hall Friday evening, beginning at seven-thirty. A program will be given, refreshments will be served and the committee in charge Cordially Cordial-ly invites the) public to be present. Hal Kerr, assistant state engineer for the state road commission, was here for a feW hours yesterday. Mr. Kerr was enroute .to St. George and other southern points where he will make inspections of road projects now building. Reuben Christensen, Howard Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and Ernest Baxter motored to Richfield Monday evening of this week. Reuben Christensen, who is a member o the I. 0. O. F. attended the session of the lodge at which the state grand officers conducted. Miss Vera Jensen, who has been employed at the Gunnison Valley bank for some months past, left for Salt Lake last Saturday where she will remain re-main indefinitely. Miss Ethel Jensen is filling the position at the bank made vacant by the resignation of her sister., sis-ter., i |
