Show Miss Ruth Perkins Christmas Day Bride The announcement of the marriage of Miss Ruth Perkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Perkins, a former well known social leader and school teacher of Gunnison, will prove a big and pleasant : surprise to her many friends here. Miss Perkins was married to Otto L. Lohmoelder j Christmas day at Detroit, Michigan. The. ceremony was performed by Elder El-der L. Verl Broadbent, formerly of Heber, and who is now laboring as a missionary for the Mormon church in Michigan, and was witnessed by two lady and one male missionaary. Following the ceremony the bridal couple and friends enjoyed an elaborate elabo-rate dinner at the Book Cadillac ho-( tel. Mr. Lohmoelder is one of the young and promising business men of Detroit. He was born in Michigan where he spent most of his life. A few years ago, however, he came to Utah where he met his bride-to-be. About a year ago he returned to Detroit De-troit and is now foreman in the shipping ship-ping department of the Wolverine Enamel plant, one of the largest of its kind in the country. Mrs. Lohmoelder, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Perkins, is well known here and throughout Utah in educational circles. She has taught in this city, Provo and other places in the state and is an accomplished educator. Since her marriage she has returned to her home at Provo and will complete her contract as teacher, and in June she will return to Detroit where she will reside permanently. per-manently.
