I Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Frandsen and j Mr. ami Mrs. Willard Barton were Mt. Pleasant visitors last week. M. and Mrs. Truman Sorenson were host and vostess Fii lay night to a number of their frbrds at a delightful de-lightful card pa:ty. Following cards delicious refreshments were served. Tuesday afternoon members of the Relief society called at the home of Mrs. Chas. L. Thorpe and helped to celebrate her birthday anniversary. A i social afternoon was spent and at I four thirty refreshments were serv ed. Mrs. Thorpe was presented with a beautiful linen table cloth by her guests. The stork called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Jensen Thursday Thurs-day morning of last week and left a fine baby girl. "Daddy" Jensen declares de-clares he would ralther the visitor had left a boy, but is happy and joyful even though the new arrival has three sisters aii(t not a brother. Both mother moth-er and Baby Jensen are doing splen- ! didly. ! C. L. Despain, postmaster at Ax-. Ax-. tell, has just installed a new gas tank ' a; his place of business and travelers j who happen along at night and are ' out of the necessary power maker, ' can now be accommodated. |
