Show Big Prizes Lure Famed Performers That men and women will brave wicked hazards to win big rewards is proved beyond doubt by the show of bravery and bravado exhibited in the Salt Lake City Frontier Roundup. The Second Annual event, August 19 to 22, will see a galaxy of star riders, ropers and bulldoggers contending in the dirt arena for the $15,000 cash prizes and awards. When single evenis hold out the lure of approximately $1,000 to the winner, it is little wonder that the best roundup talent in the country is attracted. The total sum of $15,000 will be distributed over the four days of contests. About twenty-five different dif-ferent kinds of roundup exhibitions will be staged each day, to say nothing noth-ing of the trick and fancy noveilies that are sandwiched in between. Cowboys and cowgirls from all the great western ranches and professional and amateur aspirants from the chief national roundup arenas are entered for the liberal cash awards. Riders, ropers and bulldoggers of world fame are entering to maintain their laurels. No personage of importance in the roundup realm will be missing when the order is given to saddle and mount. |
